Scroll Bar Auto Top Paging Frustrating
Here are a couple of more frustrating things about the interface, most especially that damn scroll bar.
The other thing that is frustrating is when I shop a player and I get a LOAD of offers, if I look at the offers when I go back to the page with all the players that are offered the page automatically goes back to the TOP of the SCROLL BAR....this needs fixed drastically and immediately. I might have 30 or 40 players to look at and I have to scroll all the way back down to where I was every single time I look at a new player. This was always an issue in all the other versions as well with that scroll bar auotmatically going back to the TOP of the scroll instead of staying where it was when I switch pages and then back again. Then again with the scroll bar, on the NEWS page every single time it goes to the news page the scroll bar is like 1/4 the way down from the top of the news information, now this is where the scroll bar should goto the LATEST news, not be sitting 1/4 the way down the scroll bar at OLD NEWS. This happens all the time also. |

Yes, scroll bar interface issues are annoying. Here's another one I found.
When setting up a minor league and trying to change ML team affiliations for many minor league teams in a list (such that there are scrollbars to accomodate the number of minor league teams), each time you change a team affiliation using a drop-down, the list of minor league teams scrolls back to the top. So you have to scroll back down, modify the next team's affiliation, and have it pop you back to the top again. Rinse and repeat. |

This also happens if you're editing a news story. If you're typing along, no problem. But if you try to click on a paragraph above you to start typing in corrections, the scroll-bar will go back up to the top, even if what you're editing is somewhere in the middle.
I'm hoping all these scroll bar issues are related so that they'll be easily fixable. |

In 6.5a and before the way this issue was "worked around" was there were arrow keys to goto the next player within the page so you didn't have to escape out to another page and have the scroll bar do that thing it does. Too many "work arounds" and not enough fixings on this issue of the scroll bar though. The scroll bar popping back up to the top of the page has been an annoying issue with ALL the series. I'da thought it would have been fixed by now to not do that.

You could do this in 2006, too, on some pages. Did they get rid of that when they got rid of the second set of back/forward arrows that so many people (not me) complained about? They were located right next to each other near the top right.

I guess so, I don't see them in the "shopping players" player listing pages when I click on a player to look at. I have to just use the left/right arrow key to move the page back to the list, but, this is where the scroll bar defaults back to the top of the page and becomes sooooo annoying.

Sadly, this was TT'd prior to the patch and said fixed. Don't like that one bit. Hope it 'really' gets fixed this time.
Thanks for re-logging it thomamon.
