Who's managing via play-by-play?

I come up with nonsensical polls every once and a while.

So who's just acting as GM, and who's acting as the manager?

I'm not completely sure what you mean, but if you mean playing in manager mode as opposed to commissioner mode, I play in commissioner mode. Always.

In my current league, I'm playing as GM-only, but I watch all of my team's games. Not in commissioner mode.

Right now I'm playing out every 3rd game. It gives me a good degree of control over the outcome while also allowing me to get through seasons quickly.

My 1969 expansion Royals are only 3 games out of first place behild Oakland.

I control all of the teams in my leagues and play out the last 3 innings of every game. That way I get to make 95% of the substitutions in the game.

I sim the first six innings half-inning by half-inning.

This way I really get to know all the players in my leagues.

I only watch games out. I'm the GM, not the manager.

Not quite sure which poll option to pick, though.

I play out most games, if the game becomes a blowout one way or the other, I usually sim to the end.

I do have a leauge where I just sim, but I get the most enjoyment of playing out games.

I play in commissioner/GM/god mode. I'm GM of one team in my Continental League (the Yukon Prospectors), kind of a hands-off commissioner of the CBL, and an interested observer of the other ~40 leagues in my universe.

Right now I'm pretty interested in the Greenland Winter League, but once that season is over I'll concentrate mostly on the CBL.

I sim a majority of the time, watch quite a few games, but almost never act as manager.

I have two leagues. One is a historic league where I only GM. The other is a 56 game "softball" league that I sim to the 6th and finish out every game unless a team is up by 4 or more, then I sim a half inning at a time until the score is within 3 or less runs.
