Help with player_#####_history.txt files
I was just trying to copy my league over to a backup drive, and I get a lot of errors when copying player history in the news/txt/players folder. When i just tried to copy the directory directly over, it stopped copying at the first error. I've since zipped up the folder, moved it over and now unzipping it. And it's infested with errors of the same type.
This is the exact error: \data\saved_games\Home_work.lg\news\txt\players\pl ayer_####_history.txt The directory or file cannot be created. And this has happened to every player_#####_history.txt file. Currently there are 20,000 errors and counting. So does this mean I'll lose my player histories, or since this is in the news folder, it's just old news about these players? And is this error normal? |

I've never had that problem, but a similar problem I've had is when deleting test simulations that I no longer need to clear up space. The files would just not delete because they were 'in use'.
What I've had to do is restart my computer and the first thing I do is delete the league I no longer want. Hve you tried copying after a fresh boot?

I think that something may be read-only when it shouldn't be.
