3175 - Game keeps crashing

I have tried several times to create a baseball universe. But, after I put the third league into the universe the game crashes. I get a pop up that states a fatal error has occured. I have uninstalled the game and redownloaded it. After that I hate to say I am out of ideas.

I use:
HP with Windows XP
Intel Viiv
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
Memory: 1024 MB
Hard Drive: 250 GB

I would appreciate any help in getting this fixed.

Any chance that you could post your league file somewhere so that Markus could take a look at it?

Could you give us some info on the types of leagues they are?

Real Roster or Fictional?
If Real Roster, what database was used?
What is the league setup:
# of Leagues?
# of Divisions?
# of Teams?
Type of Schedule?

That would give us an idea of what happened.

Standard (real world) league set ups
nothing special at all

Far as issue it just crashes once you add a 3rd league no matter what league it might be.

Hopefully that covers it Darkhorse.

The game created every player in the game. I haven't even started looking for real world rosters yet.
Actually, I'm not even sure how to do it with '07 LOL. I assume it's about like always.

I am really getting bummed out I spent 35 bucks and I can't even play the dang game LOL.

If ANYONE has any ideas of what I can do to get the game work please feel free to drop me a line. I would be GREATLY thankful for any ideas!

Hey Scott, Are you using FireFox? or are you using Explorer?

In any case, go here and upload your league file: http://www.allsimbaseball.com/index....c=select&id=28

Then post here when it's done, with the link to your file. While uploading, your web browser may appear as though it's frozen, but it's not. The file is uploading so just let it run it's course.

Scottie, at what point, specifically, does the league crash?

I mean, I hear it's on the 3rd league. But, does it crash when you're creating the game? When you're playing? What specific thing is happening when it crashes?

Fidel, did you get those files? If so, e-mail them to me!

Oh I guess I never specifies sorry.
It crashes almost exactly after the new league is created.
The game doesn't even go back to the "Global Setup'League Set up" screen if you follow me.

EDITED:
I am sending you files now. It doesn't matter if I use fiction or nonfiction player it crashes either way. This is the last file I was using.

The game crashes on me when I hit the actions tab for some players, but only those same players. I have tested it and tested it, and even tried getting to actions thru right clicking, but it will still crash.

styx, I think yours is something separate. Do you have a separate thread for that issue?

When you say that it crashes after adding a third league, do you mean:

a. if you add more than 3 individual leagues to a single game it crashes?

-or-

b. if you create more than 3 separate saved games it crashes on the third one?

Just trying to get our terminology straight. Are we talking about the # of leagues within a single game, or the number of saved games on your machine?

No, I just threw it in here because the word CRASH was involved. When I start threads, ie, the one about font changing, no one ever responds. I figure the ones I start are invisible to others.

Scott, we haven't recieved your files yet. Please zip up the ".dat" files that are inside your game file. The one with a .lg extension. Register on www.allsimbaseball.com and then click the "Other Uploads" which is under the Main menu heading on the left. There, you should click the "submit file" icon and fill out as much info as possible. Title it "Scottiedogs file" and then browse your computer to find the zip and then click "Submit" at the bottom.

I did exactly as you staed to do. However, it may have jsut timed out (for lack of words). After almost 20 minutes it finished up...and, I use a cable modem...so, I wouldn't think it would take that long...but who knows.
Anyways, that's all a mute point LOL
I will attempt again....see what happens.
