OOTP Intro Ballpark Picture Question

I'm just curious, what ballpark that picture was taken and if all the SI advertisements were really there or if you photoshopped those in or something.

That is the Ballpark at Arlington, home of the Texas Rangers. The ads are not the ones from real life.

You can make it whatever you want by replacing background.jpg in the data directory within your OOTP2007 home directory.

Markus made a good choice. I think the current splash screen looks great just as it is.

The ads on the field were changed, partly due to fears of copyright infringement.

How they missed Bud Light in this process on the main menu screen escapes me ... Andreas was told about it ...

The betas were debating a couple other ballparks. Then, Markus posted "I like this one." That shut everyone up right quick ... "Yeah, that's good." "Good choice, Markus." "Get rid of the ads, Andreas." and so forth.
