Question about fatigue and lineups

I am the General Manager not playing in Commish mode with fatigue set to on. I have the manger settings to have myself make decisions on lineups changes. In the lineup/depth chart section I have all the reserve players set to replace the Set Lineup when the starter is tired. In OOTP2006 when you click on manage game and the games to the setup screen no players in the lineup I set would ever change. i would then go to the Team Lineup and Starting Pitcher page and when i notice that a player was a certain percentage fatigued I would then replcae that player with a sub.

Now on to OOTP2007. I do the same thing and go to the setup page and the AI is making changes to the fatigued player by itself which is the way 2006 was until changes were made. Did Markus change that setting back to 2006

I have also noticed that the lineups are automatically adjusted according to the depth chart (not only for fatigue, but also Every 3rd game for example). I haven't decided if I like it or not, but that is what is going on.

For us newbs or semi-newbs, could someone explain in more detail?

What does it mean when you set lineup for substitutions "if starter tired." Does that mean if he's at 99% you'll get a sub? 95%? What?

And what's this thread saying about lineups getting automatically changed every three days?

I would like to be able to sim a week or a month, and know what the game is going to do with my lineups.

It is good because many people like to play simply as a Gm, and not a manager.

When you set up your depth charts, you can set the subs to come in 'never', 'if starter tired', or 'every X games'. They're saying that if you set the subs to come in every third game, they now will.

You can set seven day lineups now, so you'll know (barring injury) who will be playing a week ahead.

Have you tried reading the manual for this stuff?

I have a question also, regarding a player subbing every 3 days (or whatever value is put in); Is that exactly every three days, or will he play 1 out of 3 days on average?

Yes, I have read the manual.

Again, what does "if starter tired" mean? "Tired" exactly means what in this context? Anything less than 100%? 95% What?
