USBPL is open!

The United States Baseball Players League is a brand new players league. The USBPL will be run by Steve Thiele and Gabriel Cadden. For those of you that do not know me, I have much experience in the running of player leagues, and am the creator of the Elite Players League, a league that currently has over 300 members.

The USBPL will be very similar to the EPL, but at the same time, different. I have taken notice that there are not many solid player leagues available to the OOTP Community, and that is something I want to change. Player leagues are probably the most enjoyable leagues out there. The more time you put into the league, the more you'll get out.

The league will start off with 8 teams. That means that we will need a minimum of 200 players, which comes out to 100 league members, as every league member is allowed to create 2 players. All players will be placed into the initial draft.

The league is still looking for general managers, and there is a thread on the league forum for interested parties. You do not have to be a general manager though...you can simply be a player.

Every players league that Steve (neal musser) has been apart of has been successful and fun. I suggest you join, even if you don't tons of time to spare, just checking in on your player every few days to track their progress can be enjoyable.

Registration has been great so far, but I know we can do better. The faster the league fills up, the faster we can hold the initial draft and begin. I look forward to seeing more OOTP faces on the forum.

League is looking like it is going to be very long-running, so there is no reason not to sign up. Whether you are going to be a dedicated member that will be active on the forums daily or just watch your player from afar, join now!

The quicker it fills up, the quicker we get rolling!

People, this league is filled with experienced GM's and people that know too much about OOTP.

We need some people to join, fast. Believe me, you'll have a blast. Just join and see how it goes, if you don't like it, we can always pay you to stay, lol.

We only need a little more than 40 players to start. Join up, people! This is going to be an awesome league, and you'll only be able to make 3 players before the draft. You can only make 2 after. Also, you can get a lot of points for recruiting. If you recruit one person and he/she makes 3 -players, you get 9 points! So basically +3 per player!

Along with the EPL, I'm sure the USBL will be an excellent league. Great opportunity to get in on startup and be a part of a top notch players league. Highly recommended as far as players leagues go.
