Pending offers problem with expansion

Here's the deal:

1) Created a 24-team fictional league with 3 levels of minors (added myself as an unemployed manager)
2) Simmed up until the Rule V draft (12/1/2007 in the game)
3) Expanded to 26 teams (immediately added myself as an expansion team manager)
4) Ran the expansion draft

The next day I decided to see what was left in free agency. Checked out the pending offers and surprisingly enough there was a bunch of offers. Even more surprisingly was that there were offers made before the team even existed! Here is a screenshot:

Perhaps I'm seeing offers that another team made?

Edit: And before anyone asks, I am in full control of my team under manager options.

Another update: The game is treating it as if I have offered contracts to these players. Of course withdrawing the offers will cause them to become unhappy, which is why this is annoying.

I got alot of the same. And I was supposed to be the GM, and the game treated this as though they were offers by me.
