How in gods name did this happen?

I got my OOTP pre order download e-mail
But in a very strange way

The IT department at work called up to my desk and asked me who marc.duffy@sigames.com was
I told them it was someone at a gaming company that I got newsletters from time to time from
I was very confused at this point
They said that the server had a few dozen e-mails from that address and that the server had blocked them all since it was not on the safe list.
They asked if the e-mails were safe and could be sent.
I said it was ok

I never game out my work e-mail to SI or to OOTP or when I ordered my game

Does SI have resources I dont know about to track people down?

Did you set up an old email address to forward to your work address?

You might want to put on a shirt the next time you're playing OOTP.

Now the honest answer. I have no idea how that could happen.
