Who would you take: 2nd Base
3rd installment of the series
Who would you want to have patrolling 2B on your team? Again, this is not asking for the best, but who'd best the best fit on your squad. Think of the whole package when considering these picks Keep thinking about other positions.... NEXT: Third Base.... |

Orlando Hudson. Cause he's just so cool that it blows the other team away.

Joe Morgan.
Edit: I'm not talking in his prime, I mean now at age 55 or whatever. He's probably better than any of the guys playing 2b are right now (at least he'd be able to walk 100 times a year, even if he hit .220 with 0 HR) and it would get him away from journalism. Jason

I picked Soriano (like everyone else) but Pokey Reese should be listed. He's the best with the glove, and solid with the bat.

thought about Reese when I set this up, but passed. I'd put him up there over Durham now, though.

Not sure how you could take anyone other than Soriano from that list. Vidro second.

I agree. I hate the Yankees, but Soriano is very good.

I know Soriano is the smarter choice but I have to agree with Crackpott and go with Orlando Hudson. He is just too fun to watch.

The Alomar camp suddenly woke up. I don't think anybody had him as of last night.

I went with Soriano.
I think Luis Rivas may be an option in 2004. He's speedy and learning quickly. |

Don't forget he has some great defense. Now that Almoar went to the NL, he was considered a gold glove candidate befoee the season, but he was sidelined by a broken hand for a few months.
