Spring Training # of games

Is there a way to edit the schedule to reduce the number of spring training games? I play a leauge that only has 60 games yet it trys to give me the full spring training. Not very realistic.

Is there a way to change this?

Not in 2006. I'd like to go the other way, with 30+ ST games.

what about manually editing the schedule. I know that if you edit the schedule you can add the all star game, what about spring training?

You should be able to delete games.

Well a 60 game season is not very realistic either.

Depends on the type of league.

Ideally, you'd be able to import a spring training schedule in the same manner as you can import a regular season schedule. That would allow the player to set up whatever kind of spring training schedule they want. It would also allow for real MLB spring training schedules to be used for historical leagues.

Yeah, I completely missed that. You can't shorten the length of ST in number of days, but you can reduce the number of games played during those days. I suppose that if you deleted games from the front end of the ST schedule it would have nearly the same effect as shortening ST.

I got too caught up in my own thing to correctly address your issue. You can add exhibition games to the schedule, or regular season games, or (I think) playoff games, but not spring training games. You can delete any games.
