Colts/Patriots

As a diehard Colts fan, it's hard to bet against the Patriots. Maybe this is the year Indy breaks through though!

I'm going 28-24 Colts.

I will be rooting hard for the Colts. Not that I like them all that much, but the thought of the Patriots in another Super Bowl makes me sick.

I'd also like to see Peyton finally break through to the SB so people will get off his back about not winning when it counts.

Colts will win with a last second field goal by Vinateiri.

Or he finds a way to help the Patriots win by missing an easy one.

What if he missed it, and then took off his jersey to reveal a Patriots jersey and kept yelling, "Patriots 4 Life!" How crazy would that be?

Only if Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are there, too.

Kind of like how he rides his teammates' backs when they don't win? Patriots may have done unecessary taunting but at least they don't pass the buck and blame each other when things don't go right. Oh zing!

So he snaps and blames the offensive line one time and now he rides their back after every loss?

Patriots 24 Colts 17

Peyton throws a pick in the endzone with less than 50 seconds left and blames his idiot kicker for his mistake

Last thing I remember Manning saying was that he took the blame for the disconnect between him and Harrison in the Chiefs game.

"I told Ty Law that I'd be glad to introduce him at the Hall of Fame," Manning said of his nemesis' two picks (Law has nine interceptions against Manning for his career). "Just kind of rare miscommunications between Marvin (Harrison) and I which were my fault. In nine years I can't think how many times that's happened." - taken from after the Chiefs game two weeks ago.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6354492?FSO1&ATT=HMA

Add Manning to the list of guys whose best still isn't good enough, along with Kevin Garnett and Alex Rodriguez. They could each win three championships and people would still find silly reasons to dump on them.

This is tough one for me. I'm a Michigan fan and have been rooting for Brady ever since his days at UofM. But I'd also like to see Manning get the "poor in post season" monkey of his back. So my prediction:

Pats 31
Colts 31

First ever three way battle for the Super Bowl championship... and the Bears win it all.
