Markus, please optimize the Mac version!

The overall performance of this app on a mac is unacceptable, especially on an OS as powerful as OS X.

Here are the issue I notice that need to be fixed.

1. Overall app responsiveness. I click on something and it doesn't respond immediately, there is always a delay especially with drop-downs. Typing in form fields is painfully slow.

2. Creating archives is extremely slow. I have to use 3rd party compression apps cause the internal compression is too slow to even be useful.

3. Multitasking. OS X is know for superior multitasking abilities but OOTP is TERRIBLE at this. If OOTP is processing something the entire app locks making it hard to even move the app widow around. And if I put it in the background while it's simming, the app becomes unresponsive and the processing slows down. It is even labeled as NOT RESPONDING in the Force Quit Apps window. I have to basically keep the app running in the foreground to get any kind of decent processing. For instance when I Create Reports for my league, if I put it in the background it will take hours. So I'm basically stuck not being able to use my machine cause of this.

Love the game but I think it needs a ton of optimization on the mac platform and I hope 2007 is a lot better. I'm a graphic designer and I can run Photoshop filters in the background while I do something else. There is no reason why a baseball sim app shouldn't be able to perform this way.
