Reminder about "ignore" feature

I didn't know the new forum software had the "ignore" feature until a month ago or so but since then reading posts has been much more enjoyable. I think I have only placed two or three users on the ignore list and that was all it took to take the edge off.
Even when a user is on your ignore list you can still click on one of their posts to display it so there is plenty of flexibility.

It's great to take advantage of the tools available to enhance your experience here, and this one in particular is fast and easy.

And my semi-monthly thanks to Steve K. for his moderation efforts and Scott V. (and the large cast of regulars) for seemingly always having the answer to my question as soon as it hits the board.

good advice
but i would like to know how to get my email to ignore the
notifications of posts here.
I thought it had something to do with unsubscribing but is still get them. Its almost as bad as popups were.

In your user control panel (user cp) in the User Options section you should be able to disable e-mail notifications.

I had it in use for one poster but since has been banned, mine is empty. I hope to keep it that way.
