I'm at the point where I'm just, "Really, who cares?" I blame the media for reporting this crap constantly (and apparently the public for continuing to show enough interest for the media to report it) as much as I blame T.O.

Couldn't have said it better myself. So he didn't listen to the speech. I guess it didn't include making critical 3rd and 4th down catches. Or any catch that may help put the game out of reach (Washington) . As a Cowboys fan I do not want to hear or see him anywhere except on the field. But that is becomming more and more difficult. But overall i'm glad he's on the team. I don't have to deal with him, Parcells does.

Meh, I like watching him play and couldn't really care less how good of a person he is. I can't help but wonder why some people let his off the field attitude get in the way of respecting his playing ability and his "excitement factor".

I'm not sure there are many Cowboy fans that do not want him on the team. Like you, I don't care what he does off the field. I just wish the press would stop reporting dumb comments.

There's no "team" in T.O.

Of course, everyone knows that by now and they live with it as long as he catches the ball. You don't look to him for leadership, teamwork, or anything else except him helping you get to the Super Bowl by catching the damned ball.

That said, I wouldn't have him on the Giants, as sorry as they look now. I'd rather miss the playoffs, but then again I don't play football for a living. I bet most of the Giants themselves would love to have him around. Maybe even Plaxico!

I really dont think TO is in a situation he can not get himself in these "situations". Seems like he has people on him 24/7 waiting for him to say something dumb or do something dumb. Usually he obliges by actually doing or saying something dumb. But is he really doing anything this year that is that much worse than anything going on in any other sports team clubhouse? The media has been trying to get a TO story ever since he signed with Dallas. TO being good is boring, TO being naughty is good for circulation and ratings. I really dont care anymore and i think TO is really not being treated fairly. Let it go.

In the interests of full disclosure I should say I am a Cowboys fan. I never liked TO (actually I loathe him). It still just doesnt feel right that I am rooting for this guy on Sundays. But I just want my team to win and if he helps them do that then so be it. I think most Cowboys fans would feel the same way. I am far more annoyed and irritated by all the dropped balls (which has cost them atleast one game) than him sleeping in meetings or dissing his coach.

I just wish he'd stop dropping passes! He is a moron though.

Despite his age and drops this year, he's still a top-notch receiver. I think he's more than useful.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that he was purposefully screwing with the media. Did anyone else at the meeting suggest if TO was or was not paying attention?

He laughing while saying it. He sounded like he was joking to me. Either way, he wasn't sleeping during film study or game planning for next week. Non-story in my eyes.

I agree with you for the most part. But as fans we don't have to worry about him off the field. All we need do is watch. As far as the Giants, they are not a sorry team. They are the league elite if healthy. Problem is, they cannot overcome it.

I love TO on the team. I just wish he'd catch them all. But at worst he at least opens up other players like Glenn and Witten. You have to account for TO. The only thing i'm worried about is the Cowboys OL.
