Mulligan!!! The Devil Rays Get A Fresh Start

This dynasty will be my attempt to re-write the history of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. I will start by using Ankit's database (import year 1998). This dynasty will be played in v6.5 and will start with the team as it existed on Opening Day. (In other words I will not be re-doing the expansion draft...so I will have to live with Kevin Stocker!!!) I have set-up the league to mirror MLB...so finacials, waivers, etc. will all be on. I will not be importing the real schedule, but will allow the AI to create one every season. Japanese and Cuban players will not be allowed to enter league, but retired players may come back.

I will be GM'ing the Devil Rays and the AI all other squads. I will not play out any games, but will be simming only one day at a time, so that I can micro-manage all aspects of the squad.

The only advice I can give you, and I say this having cursed at him while he was briefly in Detroit, is to get rid of Esteban Yan. Get rid of him now. Take a box of balls if that is all that is offered. Get rid of Esteban Yan now.

This should be fun to follow.

Thanks, I think.

If I recall correctly, he was Todd Jones without the control and a bit more snot on his fastball.

Not a guy to let get into a meaningful situation.
