Rookies
Hello, I am new to OOTP and have a question concerning rookies and player development. I have a few star calibur pitchers in my minor league teams that are around 22-24 years old. Their ratings aren't that good yet, but their talent is very nice. What I would like to know is this: Will the player develop quicker and better once he gets a spot on my starting rotation? And also, are minor league player's ratings in comparison with big leaguers or are are they so low because they just haven't proven themselves at a major league level?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ghorticus |

If you bring the Minor Leaguer up too early he will not do well and his ratings will go down. If the player is 24 years old and has at least a 4 rating in his strong categories I usually bring them up for some Major League seasoning.
I have a question...are these players pitchers or batters and what level of ball are they at? |
