"Remove From Pitching Staff" just plain doesn't work

This is surprising to me because the final patch is supposedly, well, final, but if I'm in my pitching staff screen and I right-click on a pitcher, then choose the option "Remove From Pitching Staff," then absolutely nothing happens.

I've got a guy listed in the #2 slot for Setup Reliever and I did that action, thinking it would remove him from that slot. Nope. Nothing. So is this a purely decorative option?

Now that is an odd find. Frankly, I've never used the right-click on that screen for that purpose, simply dragging the player out of the area and back onto the roster portion he disappears from the Staff designations.

Thanks for pointing it out, and I'm sure someone will look into it and if it is a problem in this version -- it won't be in the next.

I've had to do the same thing when taking a guy off the disabled list and demoting him to AAA. Drag and drop didn't work, so I had to right click and select "Demote to AAA blahblah"

Admittedly, drag&drop is a bit fussier about what it allows. Your situation is actually the reverse of the OP, who was trying to use the right-click and having it not function as planned. I'm not at my home computer now, but it would be beneficial if a couple of other folks could verify that this is a universal problem (which I suspect it is) and not isolated so the powers to be can put it in the to-be-fixed line for the next version.

Thanks for your input, mikev.

He's right. "Remove from Pitching Staff" doesn't work.

Heh, I just realized that I totally read what AJ posted and interpreted it backwards.

I need another energy drink, and less computers to crash at work right now.
