I'd like some logos for the Keystone League

I decided it would be fun to have logos for the teams in my fictional Keystone League.

The league has 12 teams in Pennsylvania cities. It's currently playing the 1965 season, so some retro-style logos would be perfect.

The teams and their nicknames are:
Bethlehem Steelers
Lancaster Red Roses
Lewisburg Profs (short for Professors)
Reading Coal Heavers
Williamsport Millionaires
York White Roses
Altoona Mountaineers
Gettysburg Cannons
Johnstown Johnnies
Oil City Oilers
State College Hillclimbers
Washington Generals

I'd like a logo for the league, too.

Knuckler, these are great! They have exactly the kind of feel I'm looking for. If you're interested in doing more, please use any color schemes you'd like.

The last one is the best IMO...colors stand out the best.

Very well designed...like the state in the background...excellent ballplayer, too.

It is nice and simple and uncluttered.

Your last logo, with the gold border around the lettering, is the one I like the best. The league was established in 1960...I think it would be cool to work that into the logo.

those are mighty fine logos! I had a suggestion for the first Generals one, if you could just have four stars representing 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base and homeplate that might look cool? Just a thought!

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I'll give it a shot when I finish off the additional Wiiliamsport logo I'm working on. Thanks for the kind words(and idea) as always.
