NBA All-Star Weekend and NBATV

I think these are new things at Youth Jam,Hall of Fame Announcements and News,Interviews,Press Conference and so on.
David Stern picks the replacements not the Head Coach is that right because in the MLB and NHL their Commissiners don't pick the replacements the Managers do?
The thing that's got to be added to All-Star Weekend Host City Past/ Present Stars against Oldtimers for example if the the All Star Game is in Houston then Kenny Smith,Sam Cassell,Steve Francis,Mobley,Tracy M.,Yao Ming,Pippen,Gervin,Battier,Drexler and other Past/Present Rockets Stars against Oldtimers.
NBATV needs to be in part of the TV Contract so it can have it's own crews calling games because right now they just carry live feeds of games called by the team TV Crews.
