BBL accepting apllications

New league forming http://www.bbl.ssbl.net/index.php

What's new ? You choose your City. You choose your nickname.

We construct a fictional league in North America with your basic 3 levels of minors. Once we have enough applicants the structure begins. No DH will be used eliminating the worry of being in a specific league and wishing you were in the other ie. American or National.

For now c'mon in and sign up as we are a work in progress and will build on the number of teams we can fill; looking for 30 total.

Thanks to one and all, and am looking forward to seeing you in the Backyard Baseball League !

we'll actually start this league with 18 or 24 teams if need be, and we are already at 13. the sooner guy sign up, the sooner we get things rolling

we're leaning towards an ML setup with the standard 3 levels in the minors, and a stand alone Indy league who's only interaction comes by way of the offseason FA's rules 5's etc. absolutely no trading with the Indy league, as it will run on AI at all times, with a reserve roster to aid it.
ML set up (humans) will be 2 leagues, 2 divisons of 6 with a split season. 8 teams qualifying for the post season with a possible 5-7-7 fprmat. Lots to discuss and do but more progress has just been made so please stay tuned.

we are at about 15 interested owners right now, and our target goal is 24. we are willing to go over 24 if enough people sign up before we get started.

we're in the process of finalizing rules and the league setup stuff right now so that we can give everyone a good idea of how things will run, so hang tight, and get it before it gets too late!
