Anybody Monitoring the Tech Support Forum?

There seem to be a lot of unanswered posts there with no resolution or comment from anyone related to SI.

Could be just an "after final patch" lull. Gotta have patience, I guess.

it's been pretty dead there since after the second patch. I don't think things are getting logged currently.

We should try going over there to see if anything is wrong. I know we already sent some people over there, one at a time, and they never came back... that token black guy was the first... then the party girl... then that tough guy... then the joker... then the really nice guy with the glasses you'd never guess would get killed (until he lost his glasses, of course)... then the annoying preppy girl (and her chihuahua)... but what about that seriously good-looking couple, the one with their names at the top of the credits? I bet you they'll live...

I think we should send Malleus Dei --- to solve the problem --- not to be killed.

Or maybe Gastrix Reflux.

Now that my boss bought a copy of the game and knows what I am doing as a hobby, I have been informally advised to look closely at the No Compete portion of the code of conduct.

Short version: don't troubleshoot PC problems, especially at work . . .

He lets me stay on the BBS all day long. I just am not supposed to do the same work he pays me to do.

I am job hunting, but not because of this.

Considering everything you've mentioned in this post, was this really a smart thing to post? Unless of course you like leverage...

Don't apply for work at any place whose name rhymes with "The Glarts Glinstitute", that's my advice.

I work for a company that is a homophone for the essence of my precious bodily fluids. Can't be any sillier than that.

Yes, as evidenced by the fellow who posted 5 minutes before you did.

Chris, I had posted on your website (before I saw this thread).

I'll get someone to take a look at the problems

PSA: Marc responded today to a number of threads on the Technical Support board, mostly with questions back to the OP's. So, if you've got a pending issue over there, you might want to check to see if he is waiting on you.
