Question about Wallman's Utility
I have downloaded the patch and I am having a problem with the playoff stats....I tried it by using the text boxscores for the playoffs and also the html box scores and put them in the boxscore folder...I created my new league data base and generated the html and then I parsed the playoffs...is this the right order or am I doing something wrong because the players that were in the playoffs are not showing any playoff stats anywhere on the player's page. Also I noticed that when I cliked on the league prompt I am getting no listing there

first thing... you must use the html box scores.
You created a database, then generated the html, then parsed the playoff boxscores.. you should have..... Created database, parse playoff box scores, then generate html. Kurtis CUBL Commish

I have my own question/problem with Wallmans utility.
If you go to my CUBL Reference pages here ... you will see that everything looks normal right?... well... I have a problem. If you look on the right... under leagues.. you will see three years.. 2000, 2001, and 2002... none of these links work. Also... when you click on LEAGUES.. it shows only 2001 and 2002.. it is missing 2000. The 2000 stats are there for the players though. I've ran it twice now.. with the same results... could being an OOTP3 converted to OOTP4 be the problem? 2000 OOTP3 2001 OOTP3 2002 OOTP4 Any help is very much appreciated... and once again Wallman.. this is a great utility. I'm having a bit of a problem myself...
I can't get the utility to run. I downloaded the Java program, but when I try to run the utility with the Javaws program the Java program says it can't run the application and gives me this error message: An error occurred while launching/running the application. Category: Launch File Error The following required field is missing from the launch file: <jnlp> What the heck do I do now? Edit - Nevermind, I figured it out.

I also noticed some teams don't have all their years either. Columbus missing 2002 Kansas missing 2002 Miami missing 2002 New England missing 2002 New York missing 2002 Philadelphia missing 2002 So I have a couple boo-boos happening here. ![]() Kurtis CUBL Commish

Did everyone reparse all of their HTML files after the patch? That is one thing I forgot to mention. That fixes various issues with the generation of league files.
I'm not sure why the team files are not generating. Check the DOS window that pops up with the utility and report any errors that come up in it.

I am new to the Wallman utility and have a couple of questions. I parsed and then created my player pages, all went well. I like others used the text boxscores for the playoffs so needless to say my pages do not show any playoff stats. I then went in and parsed the html boxscores into the db.
Do I have to delete my current player pages and regenerate them or can I generate new ones and overwrite the ones that are there so I'll have my playoff stats? One more question I haven't found an answer for in the many threads I searced on Wallman. I and my son are both playing seperate solo leagues using Rolen's roster with the league folder renamed to different names ex. DADs.lg and Sons.lg. When I created my Wallman pages the league is called career2002.lg not dads.lg. Can I rename the file created by Wallman or is there a way to rename my league file in the game so we can both use Wallman? Without being able to do this the only way I see around it would be to rename my file "career2002.lg_dad" and make my son's "career2002.lg_son" under html in Wallman and then remove the "_dad" and "_son" while using Wallman. I would also assume I would have to rename the "career2002" file under data? Hope all this makes sense. Any help appreciated. |
