What is the most efficient way to create a special schedule?
I will need to do a special schedule manually.
No one is doing schedule these days on the V2006 Schedule Forum. I am not very computer-literate. What is the most efficient way to do this? Does it have to be in V6.5 to import it to V2006? Is it possible to import it from a spread sheet? If so, is there a special setup that is required? I hope I am making some sense. Is it possible to create the schedule and then import it to V2006? Is this an easy process to import a schedule and does it accurately import it with no problems? I have looked at the schedule editor in V2006 and it will take me forever to manually put in 60 games a day...it is a 240-team league...30 divisions in two subleagues...4 teams in each division. I only want them to play in their division. So I will have to do it manually. Question: Will the game alter the schedule in the second season and switch the teams around? It did it this way in V6.5 and I think it does it that way in V2006. This would mess the schedule up as I don't want division teams playing out of division during the regular season. If it does switch the teams each season, could I save the schedule from the first season and import it for the second season and each succeeding season? Your help would be appreciated. Just create any kind of league and export its schedule to see the file format setup, or just open up any of the schedule files shipped with OOTP2006. Quote:

Thanks, LGO.
Your help on schedules is always very much appreciated. I am glad to hear that the second season schedule will keep all games in the division. |
