Wink Will OOTP ever go on-line?

One thing that I would think would be awesome with text based game is if we had the ability to play online against other people head-to-head, especially in leagues. Will OOTP do this in the future?

I also think that would be a great feature. I have no idea if this is in the future of OOTP, but I just had to say how much I'd like to see this.

However, if this is done in leagues, you'd have to have some way of keeping the game going in case one person's internet times out. As much as I hate to acknowledge it, there are some people out there (a very small percentage but they do exist) who would just disconnect and reconnect from the game if they were losing to force the game to be restarted. To solve this, the computer should be able to play out the other side, but then allow the person whose team it is to get back in the game, because the reality is that people do get disconnected from the internet, and the vast majority of them would be real. I'd hate to see people cheat at the game, but its even worse to screw other people who really do have internet problems. Okay, there's my two cents and my rant about cheaters.

This is something that we have talked about and would like to do, I really don't know when/if it will become a reality....

Any chance of the "live sim" feature that we were talking about a while ago? Sorry, I've been away for nearly a month (as my embarrassing post count indicates --when I left I was around hellfrozeover!!!), so I don't really know if this has been talked about...
