Game crashes going from April 2nd to April 3rd

I created a fictional universe template (started with the ricobrown template, removed the MLB, and re-did the mlb and minors so it would have fictional players)...started the game, deleted all the free-agents (because all the real mlb players were free agents somehow) and tried to sim a season. No matter what and how many times I've tried, the game would crash with a Windows Error after the games on the April 2nd. I re-applied the 1.02 patch but that didn't fix anything (verified version is 1.0.2.12262 on the startup screen.).

I don't get any error codes like the rest of you have gotten...just a "OOTP has encountered a problem" windows popup.

any ideas?

That's a lot of variables at work there, but it suggests a problem within the league structure. Let's see if we can locate the SI ftp site for you to zip up the .dat files for upload. Back when I locate it.

Hey Endgame...thanks for the offer. I got tired of fighting with it and just recreated everything from sratch.

Whatever it was, its gone now. I'm able to sim away.

Oh well. Such is life.

Sorry I didn't find it before I got home. Heck, I still haven't found it.

But anyway, glad you're back on the road again. Did you do all the same things this time?

don't sweat it...was really just posting to get some ideas. There were things about that template I didn't like anyway, so it was just another thing to start over.
And no, didn't use the same process..started completely from scratch this time. Just goes to show ya...you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself!
