Brand New League - LIVE DRAFT TONIGHT!

The USBA (United States Baseball Association) is an 8 team fictional league with real 1993 players. The league's first season will 1994. The league is a part of a universe called IAB (International Association of Baseball).

The league's concept follows the storyline of the MLB strike looming in this time period, and a new league coming on to the scene that grabs the attention of the fans, who see the MLB owners as greedy, and the players, who have reached an impasse with MLB. The MLB soon folds its operation, and the end of classic baseball ends.

This is really an exciting new league, we have a bunch of cool plans for where to go with this.

The live draft takes place on AIM TONIGHT on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 8:40PM Central. (9:40 ET, 7:40 MT, 6:40 PT).

We have four of the eight teams available:
Dallas Lone Stars, Phoenix Fire, Miami Wave, and Washington D.C. Revolution

This sucks. But we can still do the draft, so if anyone is interested, sign up and we will get the league set up, so we are ready to roll when everything works.

Howdy, Sounds interesting..I would like to join as owner of Phoenix Fire but I cant seem to access your website to apply for a team. I tried the link above several times and it just seems to sit there with a blank screen, never timing out or indicating not found. Thanks

I'm facing some difficulties with the forum. They aren't a big deal but they might not be fixed before the draft tonight.

Come on now he must be a new guy.

Obviously he has not seen one of these threads before posting open teams. It was just a couple of weeks ago and the only time our league has ever needed to post open teams on the boards.

The United States Baseball Association (USBA) has been on the offical OOTP server since 2002. We have run through 17 full seasons during that time and are getting ready to kick off our 18th as I type.

QUICK TIP: Don't decide to change it to American Baseball Association. They're long running as well.

If I were you, I'd tell this LivnLegend guy where to go and to take his league with him. **wink**

I have no problem changing the league name.

Just so you know, I'm not a new guy, I've been playing the game since version 4, but unfortunately I'm in the Navy and I've been out of the country for the last 3 years or so. I totally forgot that another USBA existed, and didn't think to check. My apologies, I didn't mean to step on anyones toes.
