Will this work

I had this idea and I wanted to know if it would work.

I have downloaded both Cubby/Rolen and MLB2006Ver3.3

I like the real world rosters of Cubby/Rolen and know its only Beta now but I like the World setup of MLB2006Ver3.

Now I would like to put real players into the MLB2006ver3.3 Mainly just for the Majors and their minors.

Could you take the dat files that would contain the players and put that file into MLB2006ver3.3? That way you would have the real players.

Would this file also contain their stats and would the right ratings transfer over. Would there have to be other files I would have to trasfer over.

If they end up on the right team the better but if they don't that is OK because I was going to do a draft anyways. I figured this may be the easiest way.

The same with the coaches file?

And what exactly is on the names dat and the teams dat?

I've seen that and I was trying to think of an easier way to do that.

It just seems to me there has to be an easier method.

Well, if you do find one, please post it because I am interested also. The link I posted seems a bit involved for me ( i know I will mess something up) I think in another link they said they had done it and were trying to get it posted somewhere for download but have not been succesfull yet.
