Need a financial tutorial...

I swear I can't figure out the financial page. It most effects me when I try to make an offer for a contract extention and get the message that I have no funds to make extentions at this time and the owner will not approve it. Then I look at the financial page and see what looks like $15 million in the account. Anyway, I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the page, I just don't understand how to read it or what info it is giving me.

On the left hand side of the page is probably the most important portion for you. On that side at the top you'll see a line that says: Current Budget: That is the amount of money you are projected to make this year. Above that you'll see your current Staff and Player payroll and below it your projected balance (profit) for this year.

If its negative the owner may be hording the cash reserves so that the money loss for this year doesn't hurt so bad.

In addition at the bottom of the screen you'll see the amount of money your owner will allow you to spend on player or staff signings. Depending on the owner, he may or may not allow you to spend all of your cash reserves/projected profit.

Is there anyway to find out what kind of owner you have, or more importantly to take his job from him!

In the League Setup screen you can check or uncheck Owner has control over budget.
