Amateur draft date problem

I did a search for this problem and found something similar in the Closed/Claim Fixed forum... but apparently it isn't fixed.

I started a 24 team league using real teams, fictional players. 1968 as the starting year. About one week into spring training I noticed the date the of the amateur draft (on the sim menu) is 06-01-2006 despite the date being 06-01-1968 in league setup.

I simmed ahead to see if the draft would be skipped and it was. I opened the template I saved when I created the league and the draft date is set at 06-01-1968. I have made no changes to the date from the time I created the league until I noticed the problem.

I spent several days setting up this league and now I'm sick that I have to scrap it (or wait 38 years to have an amateur draft).

I am using the 1.02 patch.

I'm going to try to replicate this issue in a minute.

Did you perchance save your league configuration as a template? If not, I certainly recommend you do so in the future. It's a handy backup feature.

I did save the league configuration as a template. Later today I will use it to start the league over and hope the draft issue isn't still there. Thanks.

I was able to replicate this issue. I have logged this as TT # 2322.
