Sugar Shane vs Fernando Vargas
While I am more a fan of the UFC tomorrow's Sugar Shane and Vargas rematch is going to be a good one. I'll definitely be getting the PPV. Any predictions?

Dola,
Interesting article from ESPN - http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=2520144 "A Nevada district court judge on Friday evening issued a temporary restraining order that will prevent Fernando Vargas from using the sports drink Gatorade in his corner between rounds of his junior middleweight rematch against Shane Mosley on Saturday night at the MGM Grand. Allowing fighters to use sports drinks such as Gatorade and Powerade -- which are supposed to rehydrate athletes better than water -- was one of several rules changes adopted by the Nevada Athletic Commission in response to a recent report from the five-member Advisory Committee on Boxer Health and Safety. The committee was established last year after two fighters, Martin Sanchez and former lightweight titleholder Leavander Johnson, died in Nevada, and two others suffered career-ending brain injuries. When Vargas asked for, and received, permission to use the sports drink under the new rules, which had not been implemented yet, Golden Boy Promotions, which promotes Mosley, objected. Golden Boy filed a formal complain with the Nevada commission over the ruling, saying it did not receive notification of the policy change until a few days ago. Mosley's claim was that Vargas could have an unfair advantage in the fight. Mosley trained using water during sparring and did not know how his body would react if he used a sports drink. Vargas, meanwhile, used a sports drink during his training camp and his body has already adjusted to using it. Earlier this week, Vargas said he believed the drink gave him "a little bit of extra kick" during training camp. Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada commission, said that drinks approved by the commission were optional and not performance enhancing, and the commission denied the complaint. Golden Boy went to Nevada State Court and won the temporary restraining order from Judicial District Court Judge Ken Cory. "I think it's a fair and just decision," said Jack Mosley, Shane's father and trainer. "It wasn't fair for them to tell us only a couple of days ahead of time about this." Said Golden Boy's Richard Schaefer, "There should be a process by which these rules are being introduced so the fighters have an opportunity to get used to using sports drinks in their training to see if they will be helpful. A fighter needs to use in training camp to see how the body reacts." Kathy Duva, who owns Main Events, the promotional firm that handles Vargas, downplayed the decision. "Vargas wasn't going to drink it anyway," a smirking Duva said. "We were just playing with them. We were told you can drink sports drinks and we requested it. He wasn't going to drink it anyway. You [Golden Boy] want to get an injunction? Go ahead. Knock yourself out. I am not moved in any way [by the decision]. It won't have an impact on the fight. Fernando Vargas will win regardless of what he drinks. He was just trying to keep his options open." After speaking to the media, Duva went over to Schaefer in the press center and repeated her assertion that Main Events was "just having fun" with Mosley. Schaefer was disgusted by her comments. "That has to be the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard, that a promoter would say to my face she was just having fun with a situation like this," he said. "They [Main Events] are a disgrace to the sport. This is why boxing is what it is. There is no room for people like that boxing." This is the not the first volatile disagreement between camps. Before their first fight on Feb. 25, which Mosley won via 10th-round TKO, the sides argued over the color of the gloves each fighter would wear. The issue threatened the fight until it was resolved.

I'd probably watch, except boxing PPVs are way too expensive and I'll be working anyways.

I'm excited because there is also two other championship fights on before.
Juan Diaz vs. Randy Suico, 12 rounds, for Diaz's WBA lightweight title Daniel Ponce De Leon vs. Sod Looknongyangtoy, 12 rounds, for De Leon's WBO junior featherweight title

Daniel Ponce De Leon KNOCKS Sod Looknongyangtoy out in the first minute. Sod was out for a good 30 seconds on the mat before coming thru again.

If this doesn't prove that Vargas sucks, I don't know what does. He opens his yap before every fight, and then gets sent to the mat
