Spring Training Schedule

In my early-game ignorance, I created a league without spring training the first year. During the winter of the second year I added the option of scheduling spring training, but when spring came around there was no option to have a spring training.

Am I missing something regarding where and how to develop a schedule? I'd prefer to let the game schedule it for me, but if I have to create the schedule on my own just to get it on the map then that would be better than not having one altogether. I have the option clicked in the game set up to allow for it, but I can't seem to get any games scheduled.

I have had competition for a starting position in two seasons now for a couple of positions and was hoping to use spring training to decide the victor. Alas, nothing doing at the moment.

Next off-season, try regenerating the schedule from the "Edit Schedule" screen...
