In-Game Display

In trying to make the game sim faster, I clicked off the option of displaying the current standings when simulating. When I did this, and actually played a game, I noticed that all the names of the players disappeared. Is there anyway to get this back without slowing down the simulation speed?

Also, is anything being done on the following three questions -

1) Eliminating having to hit enter after a play is finished when playing the game (not watching)?

2) Adding the option to send a player home on a fly ball or to third from first on a base hit?

3) Having both the pitcher's and player's information on the screen at the same time with the previous and current year's stats? It seems that the previous version had a lot more in-game options and stats available.

I have to say that I do enjoy 2006 more than OOTP6 mainly because of the new financial / GM options. Also, moving from screen to screen is pretty slick too. I am still disappointed in the in-game play, however, and just want to know if this is being enhanced. Generally speaking, I think OOTP6 had a better in-game way about it.

Ah, I see. You want to manage the game from the dugout as you watch it play out. Just like real managers do. As I recall, Old Time Baseball had a feature like that in it's manage only mode. Good idea. Not sure if ootp will do that.
