possible features?

How about a cancel button in the game lineup screen that cancels the moves you made since the last time you looked at the game screen? For example if you put a pitcher in the wrong batting slot, or the wrong pitcher, you could just hit cancel and it goes back to the game with no changes. Before i was introduced to the taj mahal of all games, and i played diamondmind, they added this for version 8, and it was a good addition. I would also love mound visits, and how about a baseball knowledge rating? This could be used for players who constantly throw home and allow the tying run to go to second, etc.? What do you guys think?

I think that is a great idea.

But, instead of doing it as Baseball knowledge, perhaps split it up into two ratings: intelligence and knowledge. Intelligence would not change, but knowledge could. A smart player with good coaching would become more knowledgeable. This impacts so many aspects of baseball, it would add a lot of personality to the players, like leadership, etc. does, especially for those of us using fictional players only.

I realize a lot of people would not want more detail and I would not put this at the top of the list of things to do for future versions of OOTP, but it adds greater flavor to the game. I use CM Manager as an example where the players are rated for many different abilities.
