The Perfect Friday Night
It's Friday night and no one is at home but myself. No spouse, she's in Washington, D.C., no children.their at High Schoool Volleyball Team Camp. Perfect time to grab a couple of Franks, a beer some chips and settle back and enjoy the rest of the evening Simming my newly created 1926 Historical Universe. <amage a few games, make maybe a couple of trades and see if I can improve on the NY Yanks 26 Season.
Pre Season Ruth totaled 8 HR's, led the league in of all things walk! Have to go, the National Anthem is starting to play and I have to get to concessions fast so I don't miss the first pitch!

I love my kids more then anything...
I love my wife... at this point in my life, one of my simplest joys is when they are all gone and I have the house all to myself - game on the TV, game on my PC and I am one happy middle aged man.

I used to have Friday nights like that. Working overnight, with almost nothing to do but play OOTP for 8 hours while I toiled away. Then, the made me start training, so I have two other people with me, raining on my parade.

It's funny, because when I was a single guy this was every night for me. Man, does that get boring super-fast! However, as a married man with two kids, I can certainly attest to the fact that those nights to yourself are pretty nice.
