Clearly, some of the members of this board would beg to differ with you. Their actions and emotions regarding this game make it more than just a game to them, their leagues are works of art. Look at it like the man who spends decades constructing and molding a model railroad set. Others will look at it and say, "My, that's a very nice toy you've got there!" But he will tell you that it is his expression of the way life should be - art, if you will.

To some, Markus has created a canvas for them to paint. I say we should let them enjoy it.

No, it's my hobby. It's what I spend a very lot of my time on. Some fix cars, some garden, some (sigh) watch TV. I sink my intellect, my competitive spirit, and my imagination in games.

So, some people go on and on about things like ... comic books! To each their own.

Stupid me thought I was buying a baseball game and now I find I have inadvertently purchased a portal to Pop Philosophy Land, where the Ultimate Truth lies buried in a dark corner under a forgotten list of the batting averages of Taiwanese shortstops who had two-strikes against them under the lights in August.....

One of the more creatively abstract meanderings into the cerebrum of a software marketer that I have ever encountered. A delightful blend of analogy and symbolism. Both prolific and obtuse. In one word - provocative!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Marc.
