If at first you don't succeed (at clicking)...
Try try again?
A league I'm playing has slowed down to the point where it takes multiple mouse clicks before the game will "acknowledge" the command. The only variable is that I began the game with the waiver wire option turned off - it ran smoothly and fast. When I turned it on, that's when the game began to have major, annoying issues with responding to commands. I don't have the best system in the world, but 2040 MB Ram and 3.00 GHz processor should be "click friendly" I guess. If this has been posted already, flame away. |

Have you exited out of the game and then gone back into it? I have had similar issues and that generally fixes them. Patch 2 and all that because this is probably a memory leak or something, but there's my workaround anyway.

orwell,
There was definitely a known issue with the game taking up too much memory. This was particularly noticeable when the game had been running for some time, or when long sims were performed. This has been improved significantly in patch 2, so I'm going to move this over to Claim Fixed, and let's see where that takes us, OK? Thanks very much, Steve |
