Texas League Logos/DFW Metro League Logos
Okay logo masters. This is my first request for the new game. It's been a long time since I've asked for so many. I'm not in a huge rush, either, and the more the merrier if you'd like to jump in.
I'm working on a few on my own as well. I've got a Texas League going (not the traditional Texas League - my own creation) with two-levels of each minor league (AAA, AA, A), and I need logos for most of them. I'm just starting with the main league and one AAA league. I'll post new threads for the others as I move along. This is for my long-term solo league. Thanks for any brilliance you can offer up. Texas League: Abilene Rattlers **Big Spring Buzzards - Done: ladylivewire **Bryan-College Station Maroons - Done: knuckler Corpus Christi Kings (as in Kingfish) Del Rio Rangers **Ft. Worth Stampede - Done: knuckler Galveston Stone Men Killeen Defenders **Laredo Javelinas - Done: knuckler Las Cruces Drifters Lubbock Flatlanders **Piedras Negras Vaqueros - Done: knuckler **San Angelo Spurs - Done: truthserum Shreveport Cottonmouths **Temple Freightliners - Done: ladylivewire Texarkana Aces (Ace of Clubs) **Tyler Pines - Done: truthserum **Waco Green Eagles - Done: truthserum Dallas-Fort Worth Metro League (AAA): Allen Four Seamers Arlington Mockingbirds **Bedford Ducks - Done: knuckler Carrollton Crosslanders Cedar Hill Cranes Central Dallas Wrecking Crew Central Ft. Worth Fate **De Soto Storm - Done: truthserum Denton Blues Duncanville Reds **Euless Growl - Done: ladylivewire Farmers Branch Coons Flower Mound Medicine Men **Grand Prarie Eagles - Done: truthserum **Grapevine Cardinals - Done: truthserum Haltom City Shade Irving Athletics (preferably not green and gold) Lancaster Lightning **Lewisville Mules - Done: knuckler Mansfield Nine McKinney Magnificents **North Richland Hills Hawks - Done: truthserum Plano Marksmen **Richardson Rogues - Done: ladylivewire **Rowlett Red Devils - Done: knuckler The Colony Pirates (preferably not the Pitt Pirates logo) Thanks SO much for any help, y'all. -E

Eric! No Garland? I'm hurt.
Looks like some fun names, I'll see if I have anything that will work for you. |

![]() Unfortunately, the city I grew up in outside of Houston didn't make it into the database, so I can't use it. -E

Garland already has a logo I used from another Texas League logo thread. But if you've got a cool idea for a logo (right now they're the Generals), then go for it! I'd rather use one of yours tailored for the league. -E

Here's a couple from my collection ...
Rattlers, Engine (Freightliners?), Eagles, Storm, Steelmen (Stonemen?)

I like the engine (I've got another team in a lower league that's the Express - that'll be perfect), and possibly the stone men, too.
I'm gonna plug that in when I get home and see how it looks. I may ask someone to hit it with the team/city names. Thanks, SSGT!

We always used to call Euless "Useless" because it was nestled between Irving and Bedford, but was about two blocks big. Like it wasn't a "real" city.

I coerced these two out of my wife this afternoon. I think I like the purple one better, although the other one looks a little more mischeivous, which I love.

By the way, E, you might want to check out the Texas Collegiate League site for some logos/ideas.

Not sure how it will look in the game, but here's a shot at Ft. Worth.
No Valley teams.

You mean like Rio Grande Valley? Don't worry. Those are coming. I have an entire minor league dedicated to them. The Rio Grande Valley Association. ![]() -E

Thanks for the kind words.
I used to live in the RGV, so, I'll be excited to see those.
