Template - how do you exit?

So, I've finally decided to set up my perfect fictional league. And since this is going to take quite some time, I saved my template so I can continue later.

Is there any way to exit the game besides ctl-alt-delete followed by end task? Nothing else seems to let you leave the game...

As far as know, you can't exit OOTP while in the create new game screen.

If you hit 'Cancel' though, you can get to a point where you can quit OOTP.

Oddly enough, if you try to exit OOTP then hit 'Cancel' you will get a pop up window asking if you want to exit OOTP.

This is pretty much correct.

? Can you explain this further? Is this Mac or Windows? When I try to quit, I get "Yes/No" and not cancel...

He means the Cancel button that gets you out of the Create New Game setup, I think.

I don't think so, because that definitely doesn't make a pop-up appear - it sends you to the Database Info screen. (Never liked that, but eh...)

It does if you have previously tried to close the game.

1) Go into Create New Game
2) Try to close OOTP by whichever method you prefer (okay, Task Manager excluded )
3) Click Cancel to exit the Creation process

---> "Quit Program?" pop-up appears belatedly.

He does have a knack for that.

OK, I get it know. I logged it as TT # 2203, but as a low priority.
