Magic number question (version 4.0c)

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a minor problem in the game.

I'm running a custom, fictional, single-user league with a standard 162-game schedule. While coming down the stretch run of the first season, I notice the magic numbers listed in the standings are not accurate.

I read through past posts, and can add these details:
1) I have version 4.0c, which was downloaded in mid-June. So it would seem I have the most current version.
2) The inaccuracies are not simply saying it's clinched when a tie is all that's really clinched. The discrepancy is three or four games.

Thanks for any help anyone has to offer.

This was a father's day present from my son, and it's head and shoulders above the best baseball sim I've ever played.
