League Modifier Question

I have set up an independant league in a Univese. I equate this league to somewhere between Single-A and Double-A.

Would I change the league modifiers when setting up this league to get lower numbers than the MLB equivalent.

I guess this would pertain to any league because the game automatically sets up the same numbers?

A review of the thread below suggests that two types of folks exist: (1) those who are not sure how these modifiers work (but who would like to know how they work) and (2) those who know how they work, e.g., Markus, but who for some reason refuse to tell anyone else.
