Great Game...one suggestion...
I have bought the game, and at first wasn't a fan. Now though, I love it. Even though for some reason OOTP hates the 2005 Red Sox (I'm like the fourth worst team in the league).
Anyhow, I have a lot of holes on this team, and I want to trade...but that is an adventure in itself. I did manage to pull off a Jose Vidro/TJ Tucker for Bronson Arroyo/Mark Bellhorn/2 minor leaguers trade, but, that took forever. Don't get me wrong, I actually like that it takes a day for the AI to decide. But, the 6.5 version where you can put another player from another team in the trade screen, and his owner will automatically let you know if you have a chance was great. Essentially, by not having the "post and see" feature you have made shopping around much to arduous of a task. In 6.5 I'd spend hours posting one of my players for trade and clicking on every team to see who they'd give me for him. OOTP2006 needs something like this. At least a trade block or something so that finding a player that is available, or who is deemed worthy in a trade, isn't like finding a needle in a haystack. Please let me know if something like this will be implemented. Other than that, this game is amazing. But, for me at least, this is such a big/fun part of the game that it sort of ruins it. Please respond to this and let me know. Thank you guys for your time...you have been so helpful. Frank |
