A few ?s about Wallman's Util...
I know there are many topics on this subject...
BUT... I've just got the necessary file down and now have a few basic questions. 1. Do you have to play a full season to test it out? 2. Do you have to use exact abbrieviations that the game uses? 3. Where do the HTML files go when they're generated? Thanks, and I look forward to using this in some historic sims... Will

1- I believe it is reccomended you wait until the full season is complete before using it. Then at the end of each following season (just before clicking on proceed to next season) you generate your html reports and add them to the Wallman Utility.
2 - Not sure what you mean here. With Iatric's baseballreference style utility you need to key in team abbreviations but I dont believe you need to do that with Wallman's. I am 40 years into it with my league so I could be remembering incorrectly. 3 - The files generated by the Wallman utility will end up in a subfolder inside the utility called HTML. (actually it will be a second subfolder inside the HTML one called whatever your league name is ie HOB2 for mine) Hope that helps.

You do use abbreviations with Wallman's Utility. At the end of the first season it will prompt you to enter your abbreviations for each team. I don't think it matters if they are the same or not. BUT, make sure you hit enter after putting in each abbr. as apposed to hitting the tab key. Wallman's Util. doesn't like the tab key for some reason.
Also, if you change cities with some teams, or add expansion later down the road, the report will stop and prompt you to enter abbr. in again I believe.

Correct but you only need to enter in the abbreviations the first time you generate (unless you change anything down the line) and from there you can import new seasons thereafter. It is an extremely solid utility and it has yet to crash or "screw" up any data yet. I have generated about 50 seasons worth of data.
