Simming
In previous versions of OOTP you could have the game automatically stop simming if you got an e-mail, a trade proposal, or if an injury came up. Where in the world can I find that in this game. I just simmed through almost a month and had like 2 trade proposals. Not only do I not know what the proposals were to begin with (I don't understand why in the world the trade proposal would erase its original message to begin with) but the game didn't warn me or let me know about them at all. Before it would let me know of this stuff, heck even if it was just to tell me that I did good on a promotional day it would interrupt my simming. I really hope this is in the game somewhere.

You can set those in the Manager Home page.

I don't get this then. It was set for it to exit if I had messages sent to me, trade proposals, or if a player was injured or DTD. It didn't stop at all. I had like three messages, two of which were trade offers, and the game didn't stop the auto-play.

My god it did it again. I simmed up to Spring Training and I had 4 more trades.
I'm going to attach two screen shots to show what I mean because this is just ridiculous. Someone please tell me that this is not a glitch. If I'm doing something wrong someone help please. ![]() Same generic message for all the teams since the 14 days have passed. I stopped and continued simming from Feb 8. That's why you don't see anything before that date. Here are my settings: ![]() Someone please help!!! |

Since you have commissioner mode on, are you sure you actually took the GM job of the team aren't just "acting as"?

I dont have the game open at the moment, but I think there is an option to stop play for personal messages. I think trades fall under this. |

Yup seems that did the trick. The fact that I was in commissioner mode meant I was acting as GM. To be honest I don't like the way the game does it. If you're in comissioner mode you should be able to get messages and have auto-play stop the same way it would if you were a manager. Unless there is some way to do this that I'm not aware of this seems like a step back, especially for people that like to control the entire league and want to know of injuries that may occur on teams. Is there a way to do this anymore?
