quick noob question about photos

I have down loaded Wrightwings face pack and renamed them
player_###.jpg
where do I put them to get them to show?
Ive tried the photos folder and the saved game data html folder its driving me nuts!
I know it will be somewhere obvious but can someone please piont it out to me thanks.
BTW
I know this isn't the forum for this but for some reason my browser locks up when I got to the mod forum
