Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

When I played basketball in high school my nickname was DVSheed, because I got a lot of technical fouls and yelled a lot, and my nick name in real life is DV.

Sheed and Kobe are the only Philly natives that I don't root for. Mainly because they are total ***holes.

The best part is now he is declaring "no way in hell" Cavs win the series, saying even the light shines on a dog's ass.

Lay off the guy, will ya. I mean, 3 for 13 on the night you guaranteed a win is putting the money where your mouth is, isn't it? Especially if your mouth is talkin out of your butt.

This is why I love the NBA. There is no way the Cavs should even be in this series, yet there they are hanging around. If they could pull out another 2 wins I would be happy for them. I seriously doubt they win another game, but then I never thought they would win even 1.

They beat the Wizards. It's only fair they let them in the series. :randy:

I don't know whether I want the Cavs to win or not. I hate the Pistons, but if the Cavs win, I'd hate to hear everyone jocking LeBron even more than they already are - not that the guy isn't a fantastic player and fun to watch, but this "I am a witness" business can go away quietly anytime it feels like it (no thanks to Nike).

I don't know. It is very rare that a player lives up to the hype. LeBron seems to be doing that. You should try to embrace it. You seem to be fighting it.

I'm not saying James doesn't have all-world, all-time skills. He does. (EDIT: After all, he's only 21 and just finished 2nd in the league's MVP voting. How ridiculous is that?) And believe me, he's fun to watch, and he's as good as all the hype. But I would rather people think of him as "LeBron" as opposed to "the next Jordan", as if he's supposed to win six championships and ten scoring titles and basically overrun everyone who plays him. I think a lot of people expect that things are supposed to go a certain way for him, and I'd rather not do that. I'd rather simply watch his career progress and enjoy that for what it is.

But as long as he meets what is expected, what is the harm in expecting it?

Rasheed after game 4:

"I ain't worried about these cats."

He'd better be worried now. Whether the Cavs can take it or not, to not be at all worried about them is just plain ignorant.
