Thought Question for Markus

I have seen the blogs...

I have seen the earlier versions of the game...

All great as we would all agree. But my question is this:

What made you get into doing this, a baseball game, when it is not as popular in Europe? Did you come here and look at baseball and decide it was a cool thing to be a part of? Or did you find a market nitch and grab the bull by the horns?

Thanks to the internet I learned lots of stuff about baseball statistics. And after DMB 7 took away $70 of my hard earned money for a season replay, I decided to code my own little baseball sim... We get more games now, still get the same TV station broadcasting the Sunday and Wednesday night games but with MLBtv and also a cable station called NASN we get our quota of baseball games here. Have to say though I miss those days of tuning into armed forces radio and the rubbish reception I used to get, one minute the Braves would be batting in the bottom of the 5th next clear thing you'd hear would be Giants batting top of the 7th great times though

Sorry for hijacking the thread but as Markus knows there aren't many people over here to talk baseball to so any excuse to talk baseball is a good excuse, wonder if Markus was one of the crazy people over here who stayed up till 7:30am when game 3 of the World Series was played now that was a crazy night. Pssst Markus do I get a free OOTP 2006 if I get Jonny Gould to mention OOTP

He is getting better at this

50 years from now...a world renowned poet....mcgsports will look back on his ootp work as his most honest and passionate. Autographed screenshots will sell for $1500...his Markus Heinsohn collection will sell half a million copies and be translated into 40 languages. But still not English.
