Rainouts
I'm curious what happens if multiple games in 1 series get rained out. The Astros are here in SF this week for their only stop, a 3-game set.
Yesterday was rained out and it's pouring now with rain scheduled all week. What happens if 2 get rained out, do we then have to play on the road an extra game? Or even worse, all 3?

I'm surprised the stadium hasn't flooded. It's been like Seattle here for almost 2 months.

I guess they could double-header 2 of them and have the last one as an option. If it needs to be played to decide a playoff berth, then they play it. If not, it's cancelled.

What Rizon said. They'll probably try to schedule a doubleheader to make up one of the two games.
Any games not made up would normally be made up the next time the team comes to town, but since it's the only visit, they won't be made up unless necessary to resolve a pennant race. In that event, the first preference is to make up the game in San Francisco on a mutual off day; if that's not possible, then the games would be made up in Houston. |

Is it me, or has it been raining everyday for atleast a month or so here in the the Bay Area? I'm over it. I went to the Yankees-A's series and I'm surprised none of them got rained out. But damn, that's gonna suck if that Astros-Giants series gets totally rained out. So much for spring over here. I'm thinking of building a arc pretty soon.

NYC's annual rainfall is 47.2 inches. Seattle checks in at 36. Miami stuffs all the major U.S. cities at 60.
