Creating / Importing Fictional Players
Gentlemen.
I own version 6.51... And wish to run several test leagues and create a huge fictional league tailored to my own wacky idea. The trouble I'm having, is I do not want to have to create the player 5 sp, 5 mr and 8 fielders over and over again in the tool. Especially as the test guys will all be identical. Is there a way to use something (preferrably excell) to create players and copy them multiple times to then import them into the game ? Also, what format would be needed for the data? I see that historical databases can be used so I assume I can do what I want... but I'm stumped. Thanks. |

Yes.
The export/import function supports a .csv file which is basically an excel file. What I would do is create the league, go to "misc. setup" under league setup and export to a file--in your case, the "player ratings" info is probably what you want. Edit it to your heart's content and import it back in. |
