Put Team Won-Lost Records on Schedule Screen AFTER Games are Played

EDIT: I revised my suggestion. ifspuds made a much better suggestion than mine.

"Put the league standings on each schedule screen after a day's schedule has been played.I have suggested this before. Just thought it might be an easy thing to put into the game."

It would be nice to look back at the schedule screen and see what team records were on a certain day in the past.

The team records are already on the schedule screen for the current day's schedule.

It would be nice, if they were also on the schedule screen for all of the games that have already been played.

MLB.com does it well...just the current teams records.

ESPN does it...but not too well.

I only want team overall record...not home/away records. That clutters it up too much.

Good idea, Eugene. Related to that (and I think this has been stated before by other people), I'd like to be able to see the league standings on past days as well.

Your suggestion is even better.

Put the league standings on each schedule screen after a day's schedule has been played.

Not only that, but put the closing date of the regular season on the standings screen. With all the leagues it's possible to run now, and all with different possible opening and closing dates, it's vital, in my opinion, to be able to see at a glance when the regular season for a given league ends.

I agree. This is one of the features I really liked about Wallman's utility. Click a day and it would show complete standings on that day as well as all news stories and injuries that occured that day as well.

Count me in for this. Especially in the "almanac" for past seasons. It'd be great to be able to "re-live" your pennant races by seeing team W/L records on any given day in that season.

This would be great for team pages as well: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/teams/schedule?team=laa

I think that adding the records to the box score would be a great addition.

Team records or pitcher records? How about batting average to-date through that game like in the newspapers?
